Service Satisfaction

Whilst many view the role of Tayside Police as primarily concerned with investigating crime and disorder and bringing wrongdoers to justice, it is, of course, much broader. In amongst all that we do, we are first and foremost a public service, and our principal aims are to make our communities safer and for you to have trust and confidence that when you call upon us you can expect and receive a first class service from start to finish. In order to achieve this, we need to find out what the people of Tayside think of our service. The following document summarises the results of the 2008 survey.

Public Perception

The Force Public Perception Survey aims to establish the public's views on crime, antisocial behaviour and police activity across the Tayside area. It also asks what influences the public's views, what aspects of crime cause the most concern and what we, as a Force are doing well and equally importantly, how we can do better. The following document summarises the results of the 2008 survey.
