Concern is growing for 25-year-old Alan Kenneth Templeton who was last seen at around 11am on 25 November leaving a friend's flat in Rankine Road in Edinburgh.

Although born and brought up in Edinburgh, Alan had been living and working in Paris for almost two years before returning to Scotland in October 2006. He stayed with his parents in the Pitlochry area for a few weeks before travelling to Edinburgh where he stayed with different friends in the area before he disappeared on 25 November 2006.

Alan is described as being around 6ft 4 in height, and has short brown hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, jeans, and possibly trainers.

Whilst Alan is known to have many friends in both Paris and Edinburgh, he was also a student at Aberystwyth University between 2000 and 2003 and it's possible he may have contacts in the area.
