Tayside Police can confirm that the body of a young man found in a field behind the Landmark Hotel on the outskirts of Dundee yesterday morning has been identified as 16-year-old Alec McDonald of Thurso Crescent, Dundee.

A post mortem examination took place today and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
