Tayside Police were called to a house in Dundee's Balgowan Square at around 6pm last night following the sudden death of an 11-year-old boy.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and, as with all sudden deaths, a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A police family liaison officer has been appointed.
