Tayside Police were called to Drum of Kincairney Farm near Dunkeld this afternoon after the farmer discovered a cardboard box containing around six sticks of old gelignite explosive in the rafters of a barn.

Personnel from the Army Explosives Ordnance Division are attending to safely remove and dispose of the box and its contents.
