Policing in Perth and Kinross

Divisional Police Headquarters in Barrack Street, Perth is the base for the Western Division command team.

The Command Team is headed up by Chief Superintendent Hamish Macpherson who is assisted by Superintendent Jim Leslie who is in charge of operational activity within the division and Chief Inspector Andy McCann who is responsible for support functions.

The building is also the base for the Division's :

• Road Policing Unit (RPU)
• Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

For policing purposes, Perth & Kinross is divided into four separate sections :

• East Section
• North Section
