Policing in Angus

Chief Superintendent Hamish Macpherson is the senior officer in charge of the Community Policing Division.

Superintendent Kevin Lynch is the officer in charge of operational uniform policing in Angus. He is assisted by Chief Inspector Sandra Richard who has responsibility for support functions within the division. They are based at Forfar Police Office, West High Street, Forfar.

For policing purposes, Angus is divided into four separate sections :

• Section 1 covering Forfar, Kirriemuir, Muirhead and Letham
• Section 2 covering Montrose and Brechin
• Section 3 covering Arbroath
• Section 4 covering Carnoustie and Monifieth
