Policies & Procedures

In recognition of the need to raise awareness of Force processes and the public interest in the services we provide we will publish all Force Policy statements.

From June 2009, all Force Guidance Documents will be assessed in terms of Freedom of Information legislation when they come to be reviewed.

These documents will then be published wherever possible, either in full or redacted, following assessment to ensure that the content would not be exempt from release in terms of Part Two of the Freedom of Information Act (Exemptions).

We will also publish our Records Retention Policy which underpins our records management information and our selection policy.
